Lisa E Goldman, MD

I graduated from the University of Arizona’s College of Medicine in 2009 and completed my psychiatry residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 2017. I came to the idea of starting my relationship-centered psychiatry practice after surviving medical school, residency, and a hospital job only to realize I was living someone else’s dream, not my own. My purpose on earth is to dissolve shame and to walk with other healers in their own journey of self discovery and self determination. I like to call myself an “escaped doctor”, put here on earth to assist other healers who are suffering under the yoke of oppression in a broken health care system.

I live in Tucson, Arizona with my loving husband, Andy, and playful dog, Lilly. My daughter, Lucy, lives in Colorado and helped create and design this website, logo, and nature photography. My assistant, Ingrid, provides coverage for established patients seeking assistance when I am out-of-town a few days per year. While she is not a licensed medical provider, she can guide individuals who are unsure of whether their psychiatric situation requires an Emergency Room visit.
